Taster Courses

The purpose of this program is to give students from the W.A College of Agriculture, Schools that run Agricultural courses and regional and remote students a taste of what it is like to study at a university - particularly the Muresk Institute.

Students will be introduced to the major subject areas of marketing, animal production, plant production and farm management as taught at Muresk. To provide a focus and structure for the program, lectures and practicals will be related to the grains industry in WA. The students will be encouraged to take a systems view of grain production and to consider how it sits as a subsystem of the whole farm operation.
