Introduction

Set among the rolling hills of the beautiful Avon Valley, Curtin's Muresk Institute is the ideal environment for corporate training, seminars, meetings, retreats, symposia and conferences. Muresk is less than an hour's drive from Midland (Perth) but it's far from the interruptions of the workplace, giving decision-makers the space they need to address important issues. School camps, sporting clubs, church groups, family reunions, etc., are also welcome.

As part of Curtin University of Technology, Muresk is equipped with modern conference facilities and state-of-the-art electronic and computing equipment. There is a range of comfortable accommodation on campus including a tastefully renovated guest house, modern self-contained units and single rooms. Muresk can accommodate conference groups ranging from 10 to 200 people.

The property's historic Dempster Homestead houses a gracious Federation style dining room with polished floors, antique furniture and a first class catering service offering a range of flexible dining options.

Muresk's idyllic rural setting makes it a popular and unique meeting and conference venue. Where else can you awake to the melody of bird song on the crisp morning air, and wind down at the end of a busy day with a walk among the gum trees as they trace their graceful silhouettes against the sunset?

Facilities

Muresk's facilities are available for conferences of up to 200 people during university vacation periods from May to July and between November and January. At other times, facilities may be available for smaller groups.
